Perrochet (CH)

Swiss Publishing house, founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Eugène-Henri Perrochet in 1906. In 1907, he joined his cousin David and the company went under the name of Perrochet & David. In those years, the postcards issued by them were printed in Paris, France. In 1915, David separated from Perrochet and moved to Paris while Perrochet settled in Lausanne, where he will join later with another collaborator named Matile. In 1917, Perrochet abandoned the practice of printing in Paris, made impossible by the war, and developed his own workshop on Avenue de Tivoli in Lausanne.

Following the death of Eugène-Henri in 1958, the management of the company was taken over by Charles Videraz and then by his son George.
